AUTUMN DAYS AND WOOD SHEETS!
New in this year's Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalog are Wood Sheets. You can find them on page 158 of the catalog, and they are very neat! I have a few more things I'd like to try with them, but so far I love the effect the wood adds to my stamping projects. They make it easy to create cool textured die cuts, AND they are sized for the Big Shot!
For this card I used my Top Notes Big Shot Die and cut a Top Note from my Wood Sheet. Then I stamped on it with Michelle's Autumn Days stamp set and used Chocolate Chip Classic Ink. Then I took my sponge and sponged some Close to Cocoa, Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry Classic Inks onto the Wood Sheet.
The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and is stamped in Close to Cocoa Classic Ink on Close to Cocoa cardstock and then punched with my Stampin' Up! Modern Label Punch. I added a little hemp and a couple dimensionals, and my card was ready to go.
Be sure to check out the Wood Sheets in the catalog! I will post another "sample" from my play time with them tomorrow, so be sure to stop back by and check it out!
