NEW YEAR, NEW LOOK!
Beginning with the new year I will be giving my blog posts a new look. With each card I post that I have made, I will now be including a "PRODUCT PARADE". The PRODUCT PARADE will include a list of all the products used for my card, as well as item numbers and prices. It's so easy to use! Just cross off the items you already have and then use the link provided below the PRODUCT PARADE to go to my website and SHOP NOW! It's never been easier to shop online and get those items you need!
I think including this information will make it much easier for you to not only see what awesome Stampin' Up! products I used to make my card (or project), but it will also make it extremely simple for you to order the products you need to re-create the card (or project) on your own.
In my post below you will be able to see just how the new feature works. I hope you will enjoy this addition to my blog posts.

WATERCOLOR LOVELY AS A TREE SYMPATHY CARD!
I am actually out of town today, so I scheduled this post for you, as I hate to miss a Watch It Wednesday.
I got a new video camera for Christmas, and I have a few little "kinks" to work out with it still. So, I apologize that this video is a little blurry or grainy. I will get it all figured out and with any luck next week's video will be much better.
In this video I am sharing with you a Water Color Wonder Crayon technique with the Lovely as a Tree stamp set and the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set. I hope you enjoy it!
Have a great week and be sure to stop by the Rubber Room often to see what's going on.

SNEAK PEEK LOVE IMPRESSIONS DESIGNER SERIES PAPER!
"That Michelle" and I had some play time today~~oh, what fun we had! Here is one of the cards we made. I used the pattern for a gift card holder that I did last month with my clubs, and it worked out perfectly. The little card on the top (with the tree on it) opens to hold a gift card or a sentiment.
The stamp set on the front is Season of Friendship and we added some hearts punched with the small heart punch and the Glimmer Paper that will be available next week in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog. We also used some of the Love Impressions Designer Series Paper, also available next week in the Occasions Mini Catalog. The little heart on the front in the lower right-hand corner is from the Heart to Heart Stampin' Up! punch and we put the "love" sentiment from the Tiny Tags stamp set in it.
This is one of those great cards that can be used for lots of different occasions: a wedding, an anniversary, a birthday, Valentine's Day....

EVEN MORE HANDMADE HOLIDAY CARDS!
Here are a few more holiday cards I received. I had so much fun getting mail!!
This one was made by Linda, another Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
This one was made by Laverne, a very talented customer.
This is a close up of Laverne's focal point on her card. She embossed the tree on white card stock with white embossing powder and then added some "jewels".
Thanks, ladies, for these awesome cards!

EAT CHOCOLATE SNEAK PEEK CANDY HOLDER!
Here is another Sneak Peek at an Occasions Mini Catalog stamp set. I used the Eat Chocolate stamp set to stamp the sentiment for my truffle box and then I punched it out with the Decorative Label Punch. The lid for my box is made from a Window Sheet and just slides onto the box. I added a little Regal Rose Designer Series Paper to the sides and ends of the box, and a little 1/8" ribbon for a bow.

MORE SNEAK PEEKS!
I had very little play time, but, boy, did I need to take a breather! I had some card stock cut for a club that I didn't use, so I decided to put a couple cards together using up that card stock and some of the new Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog goodies.
This first card uses the Blessed Mother stamp set with the Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the Big Shot. Both of these items will be available to order beginning January 4th.
This is basically the same card, but I used the Square Lattice Textured Impressions Embossing Folder for the Big Shot and I added a sentiment from the Create A Cupcake stamp set, which will be available in the Occasions Mini Catalog, and you can start ordering it beginning Janaury 4th.

WATCH IT WEDNESDAY CANDY BAR WRAPPER!
Welcome to Watch It Wednesday in the Rubber Room. This evening I am going to share with you how to make a belly-band type wrapper for a Hershey Bar. I am using several "Sneak Peek" items from the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog and Sale-A-Bration catalog.
Here is the pattern for the candy bar wrapper. It is really easy to make too! Start with a piece of cardstock that is cut in a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 square. Score one side at 1", 1 1/4", 3 1/2" and 3 3/4". Doesn't get any easier than that; does it?
Here is what your finished candy bar wrapper looks like with some Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper, available for FREE with a minimum $50 purchase beginning January 25th. The sentiment comes from the Eat Chocolate stamp set, which can be found in the Stampin' Up! Occasions Mini Catalog, which you can begin to order from on January 4th. I've added some Pear Pizzazz 1/2" Stitched Poly Ribbon and a Jumbo Eyelet.
Here is the video showing you step-by-step directions on how to make this quick and easy project! ENJOY!
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you visit again soon!

SWEET STITCHES SNEAK PEEK!
It seems I am getting my daily posts on later and later, but I am not complaining, as I am somehow managing to squeeze in some play time even if it is late!
Today I got to play more with some of the new items from the Occasions Mini. Getting to preorder items from the mini catalogs is one of the perks I really love about being a demonstrator!
In the Occasions Mini there is a great sewing stamp set and some matching designer series paper. I used the Sweet Stitches Designer Series Paper to make this great little sewing kit. The actual kit box is one of the Stampin' Up! plastic boxes that holds stamps!
Here is the box open with the sewing supplies inside!

BABY BLOSSOMS SNEAK PEEK!
FINALLY!! I have been so anxious to find some time to play with my new pre-order items, and I keep getting side tracked with wrapping presents, making holiday cards, cleaning the house, laundry.... but at long last I was able to play for about an hour tonight, and I managed to finish these cards and hope to finish this post before midnight!
I made these two cards using the Baby Blossoms stamp set that will be available in the upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog, and I also used some of the Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper that you can get for FREE in the upcoming Sale-a-Bration catalog. There are so many cool things in the SAB catalog this year, that I know you're going to want them all!
I thought the little frame would look good with the Top Note Die for the Big Shot, and I think they turned out okay. They are basically the same cards, only I added a few flowers and an Old Olive mat piece on the monogram "C" because I thought it needed a little something extra since the letter was smaller than the "M".

I GOT ANOTHER HANDMADE CARD!
Here is a card I got from Barb, who is a member of the Wright Club. She used a very different technique that is really cool. The big tree on the right is from a something like a window sheet and it pops up. Very unique, and I can't wait to see how she made it. I love the silver ric-rac she used.
Thanks, Barb!
Thanks, Barb!

I AM CELEBRATING THE HOLIDAYS TODAY!
Today I will be up north celebrating the holidays with my siblings, their spouses, my neices, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, my mom and her significant other! No doubt there will be a wonderful meal with turkey and all the trimmings that I am looking forward to (wearing the stretch pants and saying a special thank you to whomever invented them :o). But more than that, I am excited to spend some time with everyone and relax and catch up!
This is the first time that both of my boys will be missing the celebration, and we will be thinking of them. They will both be home for Christmas, though, and I am looking forward to that! It seems like it's been a very long time since they've both been here "visiting home" at the same time.
I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday, and I will be back with more creative inspiration tomorrow!

MORE HANDMADE HOLIDAY CARDS!
Today I received a beautiful card from "That Michelle", and I am so thrilled to share it with you!
She made this tree with folded paper! You can bet I am going to find out exactly how she folded that Designer Series Paper to turn it into a tree! On the top she used some Artichoke Seam Binding and a Glitter Brad. The Whisper White layer of card stock sports the Northern Flurries Embossing Folder for the Big Shot impression.
Thanks so much, Michelle for sharing with us!

WATCH IT WEDNESDAY COASTER POST-IT-NOTE HOLDER!
Welcome to Watch It Wednesday in the Rubber Room. In today's video I will share you with a quick and easy idea for a little post-it-note holder. I am using a 4x4 beverage coaster for my base in this project and I will be giving you a couple of sneak peeks at some of the items that will be able for FREE during the Stampin' Up! upcoming Sale-A-Bration!
I hate searching for a pen and paper all the time, but I find, as I am gracefully growing up, that more and more I need to write everything (and I do mean EVERYTHING) down. This is a perfect solution for me! I can have one on the fridge, one by each phone, one by the computer, one on my filing cabinet, one on my desk...... These are a great way to use up some of the scrap paper you are saving. They are so fun and easy to make, and I hope you will make one for yourself!
Here is the one I show in the video with the Presto Patterns Designer Series Paper. I used Marina Mist Classic Ink to add the color to my Presto Patterns DSP. If you haven't used the Presto Patterns DSP, you really should try it! The possibilities for adding color to this DSP are endless, and it is so fun just watching the embossed images pop out of the color!
This one is made with the Ice Cream Parlor Designer Series Paper and Quick Accents Pack from the Sale-a-Bration Catalog! I used a little blue ribbon "accent" on the bottom of this one.
This one is made with the same Sale-a-Bration Paper and Quick Accents as the one above, only for this one I've added a little gree "accent" at the bottom. Sale-a-Bration begins on January 25th and it is a great opportunity to get FREE merchandise! Book your workshop with me today, so you won't miss out on all the FREE FUN!
I hope you enjoyed the video today and are all inspired to make a few of these little Post-It-Note holders. Please join me in the Rubber Room again soon!

Here is another card from a customer. This one is from Karin, and she embossed Dasher in white, and it's just beautiful. The part with Dasher on it is the part that opens up to hold the greeting.
Thanks for sending me your card, Karin!!

I love to get mail, especially when it is a handmade card! This past week I received a couple of Christmas cards made by some of my very talented customers, and I really want to share them with you! I hope you will enjoy them as much as I am.
This one was made by Brenda. She really has that cardinal down pat. It is a beautiful card with the Two-Step Bird Punch and the Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder for the Big Shot.

SEASON OF FRIENDSHIP!
This is a little gift card holder we are going to be making in my December clubs. I used the Season of Friendship Stampin' Up! stamp set so that it could be used for any winter greeting and easily adapted for any season. This would also make a great greeting card with a different card pattern.
Here's the gift card holder closed.
Here is the gift card opened up. I used my Kroger card to show where the gift card would go. I used a glue dot to hold it in place. If you were going to use it for a card, I would just stamp my greeting where the gift card is.
