DELIGHTFUL DOZEN AND CORE'DINATIONS CARDSTOCK!

This is a holiday card Nancy and I made with the Early Espresso Core'Dinations Cardstock.

I did not think I would be a fan of the Basic Black and Early Espresso together, but it definitely works here.  The sentiment is from Delightful Dozen, and it is embossed.  I stamped it with Very Vanilla Craft Ink and then used Gold Embossing Powder and embossed it with my Heat Tool.  The Core'Dinations Cardstock was embossed with an embossing folder and then sanded.  The sanding part gave Nancy the sneezes, but she persevered!

Nancy and I made lots of cute little goodies this afternoon, and this is one of them.  Nancy used the Top Note Die, some of the Season of Style Designer Series Paper (available in the Holiday Mini Catalog), some Champagne Glimmer Paper and the Holiday Ornaments Framelits Dies.  I can never have enough note holders around, so this is perfect.  Since it is hanging on the front of my file cabinet where my card stock is stored, I know it will hold a list of the card stocks I need to order.

FESTIVE FLURRY CARD!

I love the fresh-clean look of this card!

This is a card Jen shared with us at the Creative Convention, and Beth and Keri and I had to remake it because we liked it so much.  This card made me fall in love with the new Smoky Slate color.  We used lots of goodies to create this beauty.  The Festive Flurries stamp set and coordinating Framelits can be found in the Holiday Mini Catalog, and they can be ordered as "bundle" to save money.  The background was made using the striped stencil from the Build a Banner Simply Created Kit, also available in the Holiday Mini Catalog.  We used Silver Shimmer Paper, and Tea Lace Paper Doillies to layer behind the snowflakes and then gave it a little bling with some Rhinestone Jewels.  For the edge of the snowflake, we made a little bow with the White Linnen Thread

ADORABLE BUTTERFLIES!

I was out of town for the weekend, but had scheduled posts to go on my blog while I was gone.  Apparently, everyone really liked the butterflies I shared on Saturday.  I think I have forwarded the information to everyone who emailed me.  However, if I missed you, or if you love those butterflies and want to make them, I will share the pattern/tutorial.  First of all, here is a photo of the two I made.

These butterflies were shared with us at our Demonstrator Diva get together this month.  Linda shared them with us, and she was kind enough to make a pattern for all of us.  So, thank you very much, Linda.  Lots of people loved them as much as I did!  The pattern and tutorial Linda used came from LeeAnn Greff.

ADORABLE BUTTERFLIES!

I get so many great ideas from our monthly Demo Diva get togethers.  I love those awesome ladies!  This month Linda showed us how to make these cute little butterfly magnets. 



I could not decide which Designer Series Paper to use for my butterfly, so Linda generously allowed me to make two of them.  I still can't decide which one I like the best!  Linda had lots of Designer Series Paper already scored and ready to go, with our pattern already outlined on the DSP.  All we had to do was cut and fold. Then we got to pick from buttons, brads, jewels.... all sorts of goodies to accessorize our butterfly body, and she also had lots of words from Itty Bitty Banners stamped and cut for us to pick from.  This was such a neat little project, and she made a pattern for all of us.  I see more butterflies in my future!

I am off to Indiana to visit my little brother.  I always look forward to time away--no cooking, dishes, cleaning...  Just lots of relaxation and time to catch up.
