At the Rubber Room Product Party on Monday one of the projects we did was a long box to hold a Hersheys Extra-Large Candy Bar.  Lots of the gals thought this was perfect for their holiday gift giving.  Here is a box Marie made using the pattern and techniques she learned at the Product Party.  I just love it when my customers/friends share their creations with me!  Thanks so much, Marie.

WORKING ON OUR HOLIDAY CELEBRATION!

I have been trying to get things together for our Christmas celebration this weekend.  So sorry I have been absent the past few days.  Here are a few of the things I made using my Stampin' Up! goodies.
These are a couple of the markers for the candy jars on the candy bar.  These will stick right into the candies in the jar.

This is the bag that will be used to put candy in.  I will also take a Sharpie so they can write their name on the bag and won't have to worry about somebody walking off with their goodies!

Looking forward to a great weekend and then it's home again for a class on Monday morning and again Monday evening!

I am a Pinterest Junkie.  I visit Pinterest for a "quick peek" and then I am just off in la-la land somewhere.  Well, here are some ideas I picked up that I actually made!  I will be taking these with me to use for the "candy bar" we will be having and cookies for the dessert table.  Just cute little things the kids will get a bang out of.

SIMPLY SKETCHED!

This is a sympathy card Keri shared with us at our last Demo get together.  She used the Simply Sketched stamp set and the Dictionary background stamp.  I hate to make sympathy cards, but I know I will need them.  I like the way the blue sort of perks this card up a bit.  I also really like that it can easily be used for a man!

STAMPIN' UP! DONATES TO TODAY TOY DRIVE!

For the ninth year in a row Stampin' Up! has donated to the Toy Drive held by the Today Show.

Last year Sara and Shelli (CEO and founder of Stampin' Up!) appeared to make the Stampin' Up! donation together.  Due to Shelli's accident, this year her daughter, Sara, appeared to make the Stampin' Up! donation.  Again, I am reminded of what a joy it is to be a part of such a wonderful family of caring people.  Watch the clip of Sara here.

MASKING TAPE TECHNIQUE!

A very cool new technique that two demos in our diva group did for us at our last shoebox swap.
The first one was done by Caroline, and she used a blocked technique.

 This one was done by "That Michelle", and she uses a more free-flowing technique with different lengths and widths of masking tape.

I can't wait to try the masking tape technique with my groups when the new year rolls around.

THANKSGIVING CARD!

I love all of the wonderful handmade cards I receive for each holiday.  A handmade card always brightens my day, and this card was one of my favorites.  I love the rustic look the burlap ribbon gives it and the warm colors created by sponging all the different colors.  The big clear button adds some bling.   It was just perfect for putting a smile on my face.  Big thanks, That Michelle, for thiking of me!
