CATALOG PREMIERE TONIGHT IN WALLED LAKE!
I am so excited to be going to the very first Catalog Premiere Event hosted by Stampin' Up! I will get the new 2014-2015 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog; and I will come home, have a cup of tea and sit and pore over every inch of that baby! I wonder what the cover will look like this year, what new stamp sets will be must-have items, what new tools I can look forward to playing with.....
I joined a swap for tonight, because, after all, how could you attend a Stampin' Up! event without swaps? You really couldn't; it is impossible, my friends!
For those of you who are not lucky enough to be going to the Catalog Premiere Event in Walled Lake, here is the card I will be swapping tonight.

This is the card closed.
This is what it looks like on the inside.
This card was inspired by Nicole Tugrul. For the swap I joined you had to use all current products, so I had to swap out a couple of punches and colors, but Nicole's card was my inspiration. I hope all the other swappers will like this one.Sunday, April 27, 2014
CATALOG PREMIERE!
In 24 hours I will be meeting with other Stampin' Up! demonstrators to enjoy dinner before we head off to the Red Carpet Premiere Event where the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog will be revealed. Can you say HAPPY DANCE??? I am feeling like a kid on Christmas Eve, and I hope I will be able to sleep tonight. A new catalog is always so exciting! I hope you have remembered to preorder yours.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY CIRCLE CARD FRAMELITS DIE!
CIRCLE CARD FRAMELITS DIE GIFT CARD HOLDER!
Last week I had my Circle Card Framelits Product Party and this was the favorite card.
This is the card all closed up with the belly band around it.
This card was totally inspired by Bertina, one of my table mates at our Creative Escape weekend. If you remember, she made a card with this pattern using the Perfect Blend Stamp Set. I swapped stamp sets out, so I could use this retiring stamp set atleast one more time before we had to part ways. If you have forgotten what Bertina's card looked like (it was awesome), you can see it HERE!

AND THE WINNER IS.....
Sadly, nobody guessed ten stamp sets that retired. However, some ladies came very close. Laverne L. guessed eight and Denise N. guessed eight and Margie C. guessed seven. They were all very close. SO, I am going to give Denise and Laverne $10 gift certificates and Margie a $5 gift certificate.
Congratulations, ladies, and thank you so much for playing!

KEURIG K-CUP HOLDER!
This is another one of the projects from the Creative Escape Weekend.
When you slide the sleeve off you can fit four K-Cups inside. I added a little insert so each K-Cup has their own little compartment.

STAMPIN' UP! and PROJECT LIFE DETAILS!
Oh my goodness; I am so stinkin' excited about the Stampin' Up! and Becky Higgins, Project Life announcement. Here is "the rest of the story".
If you are unfamiliar with the Becky Higgins, Project Life products, it is a "pocket style" scrapbooking system with coordinating cards for journalling and embellishing your photo pages. Now Stampin' Up! will be partnering with Project Life to offer exclusive kits that will coordinate with Stampin' Up! products. All the coordinating products are one of the biggest reasons I enjoy Stampin' Up! so much. It makes everything super easy!
There will be punches, stamps, notecards, washi tape, storage boxes.... everything you need to make scrapbooking quick and easy!
I am so excited about this. I have not scrapbooked in a very long time because it was just overwhelming to me. I had too many paper choices and photos and embellishments and stamps..... It simply was not something I could efficiently do, so I stopped doing it. With these products, I can see I will easily be able to enjoy scrapbooking again. Imagine packing for a weekend crop and only needing to take one box of photos, one box of supplies and a scrapbook.
You can certainly color me happy right now, my friend! AND as a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, I get to order my products early, and save 20%. I can hardly wait for April 21st, when I will be able to order a limited number of supplies (as shown above). You can coordinate the numbers in the circles with the above photo to see what each item is.
These items will be available for customers to order on May 1st, AND there will be a full line of Project Life products available in the all-new 2014-2015 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog.
ORDER PROJECT LIFE EARLY AND ENJOY STAMPIN' UP! DISCOUNTS, RESOURCES AND FUN! PROJECT LIFE BY STAMPIN' UP!

COUNTER TOP TEA BAG HOLDER
I think this little tea bag holder that can sit right on your counter is a perfect gift for a tea-drinking friend. They can use the tea bag and slip another one into the now-empty envelope. It's one of those gifts you give someone, and you know every time they open it and grab a tea bag, they are thinking of you!
This is the view of the box open. There are four envelopes inside, so it will hold four tea bags. Each envelope is made with the Envelope Punch Board.
It was really simple to decorate just using my SU! Butterfly Punch and attaching it to the front of the box with a dimensional at the bottom. The dimensional placement allowed me to slip the cover of the box right under the top of the butterfly and close it.
The design for this box came from Sam Donald. I had to switch her dimensions up, as my tea bags were a slightly different size. For my box the piece of the card stock for the box is 10" x 3 1/4"; scored at 3", 4 1/4", 7 1/4" and 8 1/2". The inner piece (which you adhere the envelopes to) is 4" x 3", scored every 1/2"
The envelopes are made with the Envelope Punch Board and are 5 x 5" . Score & punch your 5 x 5 piece at 2 3/8"; turn your DSP 90 degrees, line up the scored line you just made with the score guide, punch & score; repeat this process on all four sides.

EGGSTRA SPECTACULAR EASTER TREAT BOX!
You guessed it, another goody Keri and I made at our Creative Escape Weekend!
This is a 2,4,6,8 box. That means you cut your cardstock to 5 1/2" x 81/2". Then you score the long side a 2", 4", 6" and 8". Score your short side at 2" and then you just cut up all four of your score lines on the long side to the one score line on the short side. In other words hold your card stock with the 8 1/2" side horizontal and the 2" score line at the bottom closest to you. Cut your 2" vertical score line up to the 2" horizontal score line; then cut your 4" vertical score line up to the 2" horizontal score line; then cut your 6" vertical score line up to the 2" horizontal score line and cut your 8" vertical score line up to the 2" horizontal score line. Fold the parts you have just cut on top of one another to form the bottom of the box. And you can decorate however you like. This would make a great box for a birthday treat or (for those friends always watching their weight) you could use some of the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper for the box and then stuff it with a little shredded paper and stand a balloon on a stick inside. A box for a sick friend with tissue and lozenges.... the creative possibilities are endless and it is super easy to make!
I decorated my box for a little Easter Treat, and I used the EggStra Spectacular Stampin' Up! Stamp Set, which is available in the Occasions Mini Catalog. You can order it at my Stampin' Up! store 24/7 with the link below.

BUSINESS CARD HOLDER!
This is a cute business card holder made with the Top Note Die for the Big Shot.
I have one of these on m desk in the Rubber Room that my demonstrator friend, Nancy, made for me years ago, and I love it! This is one Keri and I made at our Creative Escape weekend. I know you are thinking, geesh, did those girls sleep at all on their weekend? Well, yes, we did, but not very much. We were way, way, way too busy playing!! Anyhow, I have this one right by my computer and I am keeping cards I gathered over the weekend from all my new friends.

CARD BOX!
Is it a card? Is it a box? Why, it is a card and box in one!
This is another project Keri and I made at our Creative Escape Weekend. I am thinking it would be great at Christmas filled with tags; or maybe a holiday card with a photo inside? If you are one who sends a little letter with your holiday card letting everyone know what your family has been up to this past year, this would be a very unique presentation.

PERFECT BLEND FROM A PERFECT FRIEND!
A few days ago I posted a little candy holder/mini faux file folder from a new friend I made at the Creative Escape weekend I recently enjoyed. Well, my new friend surprised me today with an awesome card in the mail! I couldn't wait to share it with all of you.
This is the card, and it has this great little belly band on it.
Here it is without the belly band.
Is this a cool little "coffee cup stain" or what?
Bertina Maloy, you rock! I love this card and cannot thank you enough for sending it to me; I just feel so special.
Okay, Bertina uses the Circle Card Thinlit to make her card, along with the Perfect Blend stamp set and the Epic Day This and That Designer Series Paper. She also uses her Artisan Label Punch for the sentiment on the inside of the card. Perfect Blend is one of my favorite stamp sets, and I am definitely going to need to make lots of these cards for holiday and birthday gifts.
Bertina shared an awesome idea with me for this "coffee cup stain". Were you wondering how she did that? It is so easy and such a neat idea. She inked up the bottom of an embossing powder container. Seriously, get out! I know, why didn't I think of that. Talk about a "MOMENT"! A terrific idea, and it really looks like a "coffee cup stain".
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING, BERTINA!!
