Aren't these two card stunning?  I really liked this embossing folder, but now I totally love it!!  Who knew it could do all this?  I am so trying this technique when I get home from work, and I am going to perfect it so I can share it in Rubber Room classes in October!  Be sure to check out my schedule of Rubber Room events, so you don't miss learning this technique first hand and getting to try it out.

The first card with the winter scene was done by Cynthia Millan and her inspiration was the card with the vintage cars made by Ann Craig.  Both of these ladies offer videos sharing this technique, but I can assure you, you will want to do a hands on with it~~so make plans to join me in the Rubber Room and learn this great technique!

I planned to share more cards from Creative Convention today, but this was too beautiful not to share.  I love the use of the burlap and all the flowers.  I am thinking I will substitute leaves in fall colors for the flowers and use it for Thanksgiving.  This was made by Kirsteen Gill, a wonderfully creative person for sure!

CREATIVE CONVENTION!

The last weekend in August, I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Creative Convention in Lansing, which Ronda Wade puts on every year.  This convention is awesome!  When I leave I am not only refreshed and have all of my creative juices renewed, but I have tons and tons of wonderful ideas to share.  It takes me a bit of time to recover from being gone and organize all the thoughts and ideas, but eventually I get there.  This week I am going to start sharing with you some of the great things we made, as well as some of the truly unique and beautiful cards we swapped.
