FALL FUN IN THE RUBBER ROOM!

I had the pleasure this past weekend of driving up north to celebrate my mom's 76th birthday with her and my brothers and sisters and their spouses and children and the many dear friends who all refer to my mom as "mom"!  The ride up and back was just gorgeous.  The sun was shining (well, most of the way) and the leaves were changing and the weather was warm AND once I arrived we went to the park on the lake for cider and donuts and did a Girls "Night" Out during the day, and shared a delicious birthday meal with awesome desserts and we laughed and laughed and laughed...  a wonderful weekend that made me thankful for all of my many blessings.

Fall is a very special time of year for me, because I love the beginning of the cooler weather and transitioning from the long summer days spent outside to cooler days preparing for the holidays and the snow which will soon arrive.
