Was lucky enough to have some stamping time with my friend, Keri.  After using her Pyramid Pals Thinlits, I had to get my own.  This is just the cutest little doggy box.  This box is going to get doggy treats inside and is a little gift for my friend whose puppy loves treats.

 Okay, you have to admit that "Social Media" has sort of ruined birthdays.  That is how I see it anyway.  When my birthday rolls around each year, I love the entire month because I get cards early, and cards late and cards that arrive right on my birthday.  My grandma would always, always, always send me a card with a $5 bill in it, and that made my whole day.  The $5 was nice, of course, but the fact that she remembered me and sent me a card gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling.  

With the advent of social media, I get a bazillion birthday wishes from all my social media friends.  I appreciate all of them, but they don't really touch me like cards in the mail always did.  

I must admit (as much as it pains me), I am like the manicurist with the crappy manicure.  I rarely send birthday cards; and I am so embarrassed to admit that, but it is the sad truth.

If you are like me, you have this big stack of mail that needs to be attended to.  Each day I pick up more mail and add it to the pile.  I do sort and dispose of the junk, flyers, ads....  but the pile that needs to be paid or called on or figured out keeps on growing.  Sometimes I have even been known to "forget" to get the mail because I just don't need to add anything else to that pile!

Imagine how much I loved getting this in the mail~~doing my happy dance for a week with this beauty and then sharing it on FB, in my FB groups, on Twitter, on my Instagram AND in the Rubber Room.  Yep, I LOVE HAPPY MAIL!

I am a big supporter of the American Heart Association and love February because I get to celebrate all month long! There is a great event called Paint the Barn Red going on in Washington, MI on February 23rd to benefit the American Heart Association. I cannot go, so I volunteered to make a donation. Here is the basket I put together. 

I used a wood stamp set box and decorated it and put ten cards in it. Then I put in all three current catalogs, two ink pads, a stamp set, dimensionals, 2-way glue pen, washi tape and a candy bar wrapped in DSP, along with a free class pass and my business card. I hope somebody who loves stamping will bid on it!
