I absolutely cannot believe that 2020 is right around the corner.  There are super exciting things happening in the Rubber Room in the new year that I know you are going to love and be excited about.  Here is my January calendar.  Please click on the Class Schedule button at the top of this page to see full descriptions of these events as well as what we'll be making, costs, times, and RSVP dates.

CHRIS'S CARDS, CARDS AND MORE CARDS!

December 19th from 10:00 a.m. to noon and/or 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. is my regular card class, Chris's Cards, Cards and more Cards! Come and enjoy making 8 cards (2 each of four designs). This month we will focus on thinking of you and thank you cards. Of course, after the holidays, we all need to send out a few thank you cards. Sadly, as we all know, the holidays can be a pretty difficult time for some of our friends and family, so let's make some encouraging thinking of you cards to brighten their after-the-holiday blues. Class is FREE with a minimum $25 purchase at class, or you can pay $15 when you RSVP.
If you aren't local and can't enjoy the Rubber Room in person, this class is available as a To Go Class.

SIP, SNACK AND STAMP!

Let's get together to relax, sip, snack and stamp. We'll be making some stocking stuffers, gifts for co-workers, friends, and RAK items. RAK is Random Act of Kindness, and there is never enough of that to go around during the holiday season. We'll make the perfect little treat to leave with your tip; to give to your favorite cashier, mail person, etc... We'll enjoy some mulled wine, coffee, tea and holiday snacks all afternoon.
Cost of the class is $15 or FREE with a minimum $25 order Sunday afternoon.

BUILD A BEAUTIFUL ROSE WITH YOUR STAMPARATUS!

I love this Christmastime Is Here Suite.  I will be sending out some Christmas cards with this set, so I needed a quick way to stamp each image.  In today's video I share with you how I set up my Stamparatus to streamline this process.  I hope you enjoy!

WHITE WASH CHRISTMAS ROSE!

It's the first Monday of the month, and that means it's Blog  Hop time. This month we're sharing holiday cards with you, and I am super excited, because I love the new Christmastime Is Here Bundle.  It is so versatile.  You can watercolor with it or use your Wink of Stella to make it sparkle. The framelits cut gorgeous Christmas Roses from the Designer Series Paper and the DistInkTive image gives your stamped images and dimensional, life-like look with no effort at all.

I offer an entire class featuring this suite of products, and today I'm going to share this beautiful Christmas Rose that I made using the white wash technique and giving it some "glitz" with my Wink of Stella. 

First stamp your image on a piece of scrap Blackberry Bliss Card Stock in Versamark Ink.  Sprinkle some White Stampin' Emboss Powder over the top of the image and then heat emboss it.

Squirt a little White Craft Re-Inker onto an acrylic block and use your AquaPainter to paint in the rose.  I only painted in the rose, but you can do the leaves, or the entire image.  Get creative and make it your own card. Then cut this image out using the coordinating framelits.  I cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss Card Stock 3 3/4" x 5" and Embossed it using the Tufted 3D Embossing Folder.  Before using the Embossing Folder, you can always add a sentiment and heat emboss it using Versamark Ink and White Stampin' Emboss Powder.
