IT'S SNOW WONDER!

Join me and make a whole stack of holiday cards (10 of them to be exact). We will make 2 each of 5 different designs. Cost of the class includes Shimmery Crystal Effects, Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon, Seaside Spray Blends Combo Pack and a pack of Basic Pearls. You will use these materials to make your cards, and will have plenty left to take home and make more cards. Cost of the class is $35. We will be using the Wrapped in Christmas Snow Wonder Stamp Set and Dies for class. If you don't have the stamp set, you can add it on for only $22, or the bundle (stamp set and dies) can be added on for $49.50

Options for the To Go SAS are snail mail or porch pick up. With either of these options, I will provide products included with the class and card kits (which will not include stamped images, per SU! policy). I will also email tutorials for all five card designs to you. If you need the mail option, please add $4 for shipping. Porch Pick up will be Tuesday, November 10th between noon and 8:00 p.m. All snail mail classes will be mailed on November 10th.

Bag #1 is two sheets of 12" x 12" DSP; score 3 sides at 3" and the fourth side at 1"

Bag #2 is two sheets of 6" x 6" DSP; score 3 sides at 1 1/2" and the fourth side at 3/4"

This month during the Cards With Chris class, we will be using the Forever Fern stamp set and coordinating framelits to make 8 cards (2 each of 4 different designs). Here are some measurements for the boxes I made.

Box number one (the biggest box). The bottom is 9 12/" x 9 1/2" and the top (DSP) is 7 1/2" x 7 1/2"

Box number two (the middle box). The bottom is 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" and the top (DSP) is 6 1/2" x 6 1/2"

Box number three (the top box). The bottom is 7 1/2" x 7 1/2" and the top (DSP) is 5 1/2 x 5 1/2"

Score the bottom of each box at 2" on all sides

Score the tops of each box at 15/16" on all sides

MYSTERY NIGHT IN WAS A SUCCESS!

If you missed it, to celebrate World Card Making Day, I hosted a Mystery Night In via Zoom.  I sent/posted measurements for three cards on Friday and on Saturday we got together via Zoom and made some cards.  Here are a few photos.

For this card, I posted the dimensions for the holiday card in the middle.  For the card on the left, I made it exactly like the card in the middle, only switched up the DSP.  For the card on the right, I flipped the orientation (hot dog instead of hamburger) and then skipped the small white piece and stamped right on the colored card stock.  I also color some white ribbon with the Blends.

For this card I sent/posted the dimensions for the holiday card, and then fashioned the second card in the same way.  I used a different sentiment set and a different shape for the sentiment, along with different Designer Series Paper

For these two cards, I sent/posted the dimensions for the middle card.  For the card on the left, I followed the same layout.  For the card on the right, I straightened the DSP layers and staggered them, and then I added a ribbon.

I love being able to take one card design and make lots of different and pretty cards from it!

If you want to join us on World Card Making Day for Mystery Night In, here are the measurements for your card pieces for Saturday evening. I am using one pack of Designer Series Paper and three colors of coordinating card stock, plus white card stock. You can use any DSP and coordinating card stocks.

Card Number One: Card Base: Card stock cut at 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" scored on the 8 1/2" side at 4 1/4" Layering piece of card stock in a different color 5 1/4" x 4" Two pieces of DSP (cut two different patterns) One small pattern at 3 1/2" x 2 1/2" and the larger pattern DSP 4 3/4" x 2" White (or light) card stock (for sentiment) 2 1/2" x 1 3/4"

Card Number Two:

I will be using the So Sentimental Stamp Set, Cajun Craze Ink and the Ornate Specialty DSP, along with Bumblebee, Mint Macaron, and Terracotta card stock. If you have this stamp set bundle and want to use the sentiments with the dies, please feel free to do so. I am excited to see what we all come up and can't wait to see you Saturday! Please bring along your usual stamp kit (snips, adhesives, bone folder, trimmer, dimensionals, glue dots, etc...)

RSVP by midnight tonight (October 1st) if you want to attend the Holiday Stamp-a-Stack on October 9th.  We're going to make two each of the gorgeous cards pictured below.  That's ten beautiful holiday cards ready to be sent to friends and family members.  Plus, your $40 class fee also includes 1/2 pack of the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, a pack of Glitter Star Ornaments, a spool of the Real Red Braided Linen Trim and a spool of the Mossy Meadow Diagonal Striped Ribbon.  You will use these materials to make your cards in class and you will have plenty left over to take home and use for other cards.  We will also be using the Wrapped In Christmas stamp set.  If you don't have that stamp set, you can add it on for an additional $22, or you can substitute a stamp set you do have.

I am doing this class in person in the Rubber Room from 10:00 a.m. to noon and again from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  Classes will each be limited to only four people so that we are able to social distance.

If you are not comfortable with in person classes, I will also mail your cards kits for an additional fee, or you can do a porch pick up for your card kits.  Both of these card kit delivery options include card tutorials sent via email to you.

OCTOBER IS HERE!

October events are happening in the Rubber Room.

Here is what October looks like for fun in the Rubber Room.  You can attend the Holiday Stamp-a-Stack and/or Cards with Chris in person from 10:00 a.m. to noon or from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  There are only four spots available for in person. This will allow us to safely social distance and still enjoy some stamping fun with others.

WORLD CARD MAKING DAY – MYSTERY NIGHT IN
It's World Card Making Day, and I would love to spend some time making cards with you. On Friday, I will send you measurements for three cards. You will have all day Friday and Saturday to get all your card pieces together and bring them to a Zoom on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. Our Mystery Night In will begin at 7:00 and we will all put our cards together as we share a little social distance fun.
